On May 29, 2024, Mr. Zhu, the general manager of EZO Technology, participated in the second meeting of the standard-setting of the Technical Specification for Information Collection and Transmission of Lightning Early Warning Systems organized by the China Association for Standardization (CAS). This meeting was successfully held in Yinchuan, Ningxia, with the purpose of further discussing and improving the standard-setting task of the Technical Specification for Information Acquisition and Transmission of Lightning Early Warning Systems.

Agenda I
Background of the Meeting
With the increase of global climate change and the demand for lightning protection, the information collection and transmission technology of lightning warning system is particularly important. This meeting gathered many experts in the industry, representatives from meteorology, electric power, universities, scientific research institutes and related enterprises to discuss and formulate the standards of information collection and transmission technology for lightning warning system.

Agenda II
Content and Discussion
The meeting started with the introduction of the background and purpose of the standard by the experts, and then began to discuss in depth the key technologies and transmission methods of lightning warning system information acquisition. During the discussion, representatives from various organizations actively spoke and put forward their views and suggestions. The experts further discussed the design principles, application scope and relevant regulations of the lightning early warning system. It was agreed that the formulation of technical specifications for information collection and transmission of lightning early warning system is an urgent task, which needs our joint efforts to be completed as soon as possible.

Finally the experts summarized the results of the discussion and formed a preliminary draft of the standard. Next, the representatives of each unit reviewed and revised the draft. The meeting voted on the draft standard and finalized the final version of the standard.

Agenda III
Summarization
This meeting was a fruitful discussion, which not only clarified the key issues of information collection and transmission technology of lightning warning system, but also reached a consensus on how to formulate the standard. It is believed that in the near future, with the joint efforts of all parties, this important task of standardization will be completed on time.

It was noted that the standard will be further improved and revised to ensure that it meets the needs of practical applications. At the same time, more units are welcome to join in this standardization process and make efforts to promote the technological progress of the lightning early warning system.
